No input is on the side like a normal guitar, there are lots of switches for different sounds like the pizeo system. The guitar weighs only like 4lbs its partially made out of carbon fiber. Neck is incredibly fast. .. P. S. The Parker Fly is a wonderful guitar, and considering what I have seen of the "aging" you did on your Telecaster, I think that you could get the guitar looking good with respect to your visual concept for performing in no time .

And for F style maple necks, if they need levelling or re-fretting-- again- putting in that mythical 100-120 room for a month to allow the wood to take the shape it is made to---THEN do the planing, refret.

Their necks are awesome and I think more guys don't play them because they never really did anything for endorsements and didn't shell out money to get guys on board Now that Ken Parker sold the company you're seeing a lot of changes

Search function FTW! @ the thread topic - The general concensus was that in terms of looks this guitar was similar-looking but it doesn't have everything else that makes a Parker a Parker. No carbon fiber fretboard/back like the Fly does. "sure thing! let's throw on a flamed maple top and make it a singlecut (Gibson) and on another model let's throw in some tele pickups and call it a day!" Sad, but probably not far off from the truth unfortunately.
