Well, that's the last of the Diabetes Funnies for the moment, I'll be starting a new mini-comic series soon not sure what yet.
Just putting the finishing touches to a Diabetes Funnies, this one is done in charcoal (soft and meduim) stick sure is messy
(I'm now down to 1 Metformin pill a day, no ASA or Novo-hydrazide and have added a Calcuim Supplement twice a day.)

With this comic I switched the "house style" of Diabetes Funnies series to softer meduims. I started experimenting with various Cretacolour leads, graphite, chalk, and something called Nero as well as other soft meduims.
As you can see, body image was on my mind as I went on a crash diet to deal with the diabetes. I was always fat and now I transforming into someone else and I wasn't sure if I would like the strange new me
The oversized cothes of the "thin" me are pretty close to reality. I wasn't quite as skeleton-like as i draw myself but I did on a crash diet, lossing eventually about 85 pounds. Unfortunately I couldn't afford to buy a new wardrobe
